Horseback Riding

Saddling up and heading out on an extended horseback trip is a quintessential Western experience, and we offer many riding adventures up to five days in length. Younger riders can choose a Cowgirl Overnight which includes lots of instruction and games on the trail, followed by a fun campout on the ranch. Other overnights explore the forest and ranch lands to our west and camp at Sledgehammer, Rimrock, Spring Creek, or Ranger Station.

Older, more experienced riders cross the South Platte River on their way to the Puma Hills, or explore the spectacular wilderness areas of Black Mountain or 39-Mile Mountain on 3, 4, and 5-day trips. Our experienced wranglers and riding staff provide outstanding instruction and lots of fun on each unique horseback riding adventure.
