Sports & Games

Big Spring provides instruction by certified staff members in archery and many boys enjoy learning and practicing these skills. Tennis instruction is also available and our courts are always open for a game.

Soccer, basketball, softball, street hockey, volleyball and other sports are often played in the late afternoon or evening and lively pick-up games can be joined by anyone who is interested. We play for fun and do not have camp teams or formal sporting competitions.

In addition to sports, we play many fun games. The Gaga Pit is always active and 9 Square in the Air and Box Hockey are popular. We have a Disc Golf course and play some unique games like Schmerltz and Marshmallow Baseball. Many boys also love Capture the Flag, Kick the Can, and other traditional games. There is always something fun happening on the playing fields at Big Spring!
