Since 1948, Sanborn Western Camps have been creating outdoor experiences of exceptional quality and depth. Surrounded by spectacular wilderness areas and stunning peaks, Big Spring Ranch for Boys and High Trails Ranch for Girls lie at an elevation of 8700 feet in the center of Colorado, 35 miles west of Colorado Springs. The camps own more than 6000 acres of open pine forest, wildflower meadows and rocky bluffs, an unparalleled setting for outdoor adventures.

Will and Emily, as always, had a wonderful time at camp. Enriching, exciting, relaxing, challenging - all a part of another Sanborn summer. Of all the trips this summer, I believe I am still most impressed with Emily's early morning climb of Mt. Elbert to see the sun rise from Colorado's highest peak. It's the extra thought and effort that go into an undertaking like that, that make Sanborn such a high step above other camps.

	The Colorado Outdoor Education Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Florissant, CO. COEC consists of Sanborn Western Camps, High Trails Outdoor Education Center at Sanborn Western Camps and The Nature Place, an adult conference, retreat and leadership facility.
